About the Netherlands–France Chamber of Commerce 

The Netherlands–France Chamber of Commerce (NFCC), headquartered in Paris, accelerates Dutch business expansion in France through regulatory guidance, strategic partnerships, and high-level market access. Before Glue Up: Three People. Multiple Platforms. Limited Visibility & Control. 

With just three team members managing CRM, events, invoicing, and communications, the Netherlands–France Chamber of Commerce recognized early that its growing service model required stronger operational alignment.  

Before transitioning to Glue Up, the team had relied on four different tools to manage critical workflows:  

  • PipeDrive for sales tracking 

  • Mailchimp for email campaigns 

  • WordPress for web content 

  • Google Sheets for invoicing 

Each tool operated in isolation, which led to manual overhead, duplicated tasks, missed handoffs, and poor internal visibility. 

Ghalia, Senior Project and Services Manager, oversaw all of these systems. Her responsibilities included ensuring the quality of services, managing invoicing, publishing content, and running campaigns. As member needs grew more complex, the team could no longer sustain these disconnected workflows.

NFCC didn’t wait for major issues to emerge. Instead, the team evaluated solutions proactively. Ghalia confirmed the decision to explore new technology came from the director, who had already researched Glue Up and initiated the internal buy-in process.  

After holding team discussions and mapping requirements, the chamber moved forward with full implementation.

NFCC implemented Glue Up’s full suite, including the AI-powered CRMevent toolswebsite moduleinvoicing, and email marketing automation software.  

The team launched all modules at once and intentionally scheduled the rollout during summer. They selected this period due to fewer events, which gave them time to build workflows, import records, and coordinate training internally. 

“We did go live with the entire platform all at once. This timing gave us valuable time to prepare and finalize the website, to get accustomed to the new system, and to plan and schedule communication for our members in September.” 

NFCC imported roughly 80% of its contact and deal records using Excel templates. The remaining data required manual review due to differences in structure. The team also adjusted how they labeled deals and member categories to match Glue Up’s logic.  

Ghalia explained that learning and setup happened simultaneously. Despite a lean team, the chamber successfully configured the platform over the summer and onboarded members shortly afterward. 

After Glue Up: No More Switching Tabs to Get Work Done 

After transitioning to Glue Up, NFCC moved away from fragmented tools and established a single system for managing communications, CRM, invoicing, events, and internal coordination: 

AI-Powered CRM Became the Team’s Primary Workspace 

The sales team uses Glue Up every day to manage the full business development cycle. Staff log interactions, attach notes, and track deal stages directly within the platform. By centralizing updates, the team eliminated reliance on external spreadsheets and no longer needed to switch tabs or manually sync data between systems. 

“Every day, our sales team is on it. When they’re in contact with a prospect, they put the notes on it.” 

Invoicing and Financial Tasks Moved Off Spreadsheets 

Before Glue Up, NFCC tracked invoices using formulas in Google Sheets. This required manual entry, ad hoc filtering, and made it difficult to maintain real-time accuracy. After the rollout, Ghalia and her colleagues began generating invoices, recording payments, and monitoring billing status entirely within Glue Up. 

“Tracking the payment of invoicing—it’s quite easy. Even other colleagues can have a look on it. It’s quite intuitive.” 

Because NFCC operates on a monthly invoicing schedule, automation and visibility became essential. The team now filters invoice data by membership type, status, or timeframe, and exports it when needed. 

“We can choose the filter we want and download the data. This is the feature we’ve been using the most.” 

Campaigns and Newsletters Built and Sent Within the Platform 

The team no longer uses Mailchimp. All campaigns, including newsletters, announcements, and event reminders, are now created and deployed from Glue Up’s email module. Staff use CRM filters to create precise audience segments and rely on pre-set templates to reduce manual formatting time. 

“Right now, everything is done via Glue Up. We used to use Mailchimp, but not anymore.” 

This shift allowed the team to align messaging, timing, and engagement metrics with other member activities already tracked in the CRM. 

Website and CRM Now Operate as a Unified System 

NFCC transitioned its website to Glue Up, eliminating the disconnect between public content and internal workflows. Members now visit a single portal to register for events, renew their membership, and access personalized communications. All front-end activity syncs automatically with CRM records. 

Ghalia noted that while members still prefer LinkedIn for informal networking, they consistently use the platform for formal touchpoints such as payments and event registrations. 

“Our members are quite active on the platform when it comes to event participation and the renewal process.” 

Implementation Backed by Hands-On Support 

NFCC used Glue Up’s support resources to manage its transition. The operational team accessed training modules, followed help documentation, and used the built-in AI Copilot to answer platform questions in real time. And when the team needed further assistance, they submitted support tickets and received fast resolutions. 

“There’s a really nice support team… always quick and effective in responding to our tickets.”

NFCC plans to deepen its use of reporting and segmentation. The team is currently refining member categories, developing targeted outreach campaigns, and analyzing churn patterns to inform long-term planning. They continue to improve the onboarding experience and guide members through the new digital environment. 

Ghalia concluded with a clear outcome:
